An Amazing Legacy

This past weekend at the Peterson family reunion, Trevor's aunt Roz had a video made that showed family pictures from the past and present, and video clips of Trev's great grandmother Lera Benson Whittle talking about her posterity. She just recently turned 101 years old, and she is the last living sibling of President Ezra Taft Benson. This video was so touching and there was not a dry eye in the family. I am so very greatful to be a part of this great family. My girls and I are so blessed to have been adopted by so many amazing people. I hope one day, I can have this incredible of a posterity.

Busy, busy, busy!

This summer is already a crazy one! We're having a blast together as a family. On June 23rd, I was able to go through the temple for the first time. It was wonderful. The next day, Trevor's sister Megan was married in the Salt Lake Temple, and they had an amazing reception that night.

We just got back from a fun weekend up at a cabin in Heber for the Peterson family reunion. (I really want to get some real "oldtime" family reunions going for both the Wessman and Linder families. It was such a great experience) Kenzi has bonded with the family so much and her personality and trust are really starting to blossom. It's so fun to watch her. Trevor started working for his dad's company doing a little bit of work on the side, and still managing his store in Sandy. He also is the membership ward clerk and the secretary in the Elder's Quorum Presidency. Ashlin is still hilarious and is starting to figure out how to walk. I'm not quite ready for that yet. I'm still at home doing the mommy thing. Trevor still has two more sisters who will be getting married this summer, and we're planning to be sealed in August. It's a busy summer, but we're loving it!

Too cute to handle!!
