Jamison is Two!!

I can hardly believe that my baby is two years old! I've never had a two year old that was the youngest before - they've always had someone younger than them at this age. It's so crazy! My dad said I'd better cherish it for the few months I have left before he's not the baby anymore. And he's right.

February 25th was a gorgeous day when we woke up; blue sky, sun gleaming on the snow, temperatures in the mid 40's. But by afternoon time, a huge snow storm rolled in, dumping 18 inches of snow on us in a mere 8 hours. This was only a problem because we had Trevor's family and my family driving up to Cache Valley to help us celebrate Jamie's birthday. Luckily, they all made it in a safe and timely manner.

We had lots of friends and family here to celebrate with us, and Jamison had a blast!

We started out with dinner - Pizza Hut and Salad. Nothing fancy ;)

Then moved on to presents! Jamison got very spoiled this year!

This is his little girlfriend Riley. They're so funny together!

New shades from Grammy and Papa! Cool dude!

A cute and VERY yummy cake from Chelsea! (With basketballs, of course. What else?!)

Which Jamison spoon fed to Riley. Haha!

He had a great day and was so happy to have all his "people" here with him to make his birthday extra special! Thanks to everyone who came!

Our baby boy is growing up so fast, and we love him so very much! We can't wait to see what this next year holds for him!
Happy Birthday Baby Jamie!

Our Valentine's Date 2011

So every year Trevor and I take turns being in charge of the date for Valentine's Day and our anniversary. This year, Trev was in charge of Valentines Day and I'll be planning our anniversary date. He kept apologizing for not having a better evening planned, but it was probably one of our best nights out ever! I loved it!

First, we took the kids down to stay with my mom and dad for the night. Yay for no kids!

Then, we headed to this place to eat:

All I have to say is Holy Crap. That food was A-mazing. Trevor had the frenched pork chop with

When I saw that Brian Regan was coming to Logan Utah on his tour, I didn't even think....I went straight to the website and bought our tickets. It was all new material - stuff we'd never heard before which made it awesome! And second row?! Yeah, we could practically touch him. Pretty dang fun! He's our favorite comedian ever.

Then we drove down Main Street to this place

And stayed in this room.

Ahhhh...... SO relaxing!

We slept in till 10, got up and headed back to The Elements for brunch, which is equally as incredible as their dinner.

It was a wonderful weekend!
Thanks Baby! Best Valentine's Day ever!

Baby #4's First Photos

Well, I decided it's about time I get these images uploaded to my computer so I don't lose them forever. So here's your first look at our newest family member.

This is Baby. He is just a little tiny thing, but from what we can tell, he'll look just like his big brother. This first picture shows his little head and face. His eyes are closed and his mouth is open and he's sucking on his little hand.

Cute little legs and feet sticking straight up! Those kicks are strong and hard now, and hurt occasionally too.

And of course, proof that He is a he ;) This is a bottom shot!

So there you go. Peterson Baby #4 should be here around the 20th of June. He still has no name. Or even a potential name. Hopefully that will be remedied soon.

A Happy Valentine's Day from Grandma!

Grandma came up a few days before Valentine's Day and bought all the kids a new Valentine's outfit to wear on the holiday. She used to that for my brother and me when we were kids, so it's fun that she's carrying on the tradition!

They were just too cute to not take pictures! Jamison got a cute new red and white shirt, but he wouldn't let me take a picture of him, so this is all I've got.

It was a fun day! Both girls had Valentine's parties at their preschools and brought home lots of candy and other treats. They also brought us cards they'd made for the parents. Kenzi's said: "I love you as much as a waterslide!"
Ashlin's said: "I love you as much as a broken car!" Gee, thanks Ashlin, we love you too.

Trev and I will celebrate our Valentine's Day at the end of the week when we can go away for a night. Grammy also sent a fun Valentine's package through the mail for us with a card and tons of candy! How fun! Kenzi wanted to know how Grammy knows the UPS man, and if she told him how to get to our house. Haha! Fun day!

Mr. J's Big Boy Bed!

Well, with a new baby brother on the way, it's time to start figuring out new sleeping arrangements for Jamison. The new baby will share a room with Jamie and take over the crib and baby bedding, so we needed to find a bed that would fit in the bedroom along with the dresser and crib. Since Jamie's birthday is coming up, my mom said she'd get him a new bed and bedding so she started looking around. By some miracle, my aunt was getting rid of a solid oak, hand-made toddler bed that several of her grankids have used. It's still in perfect condition so she said we could take it and keep it! Can't tell you how grateful we are for that!

Jamison was pretty excited to see a new bed in his room!

Goofy kid!

He's only slept in it a couple times so far, but he's adjusting well. Now to get him adjusted to the fact that he'll no longer be "The Baby!"
