Last week was a crazy one... especially considering the fact that our life is usually rather boring and uneventful. Ha ha!
We started with a girls day out. Me, Summer, and Chels went and got sweet new do's at Valhalla Salon together. It was fun fun fun.

Summer got hot pink peek-a-boo streaks. They look awesome!

I chopped mine off.
Finally.

Trevor and I celebrated Valentine's Day a week late since he'd had to work the previous weekend. We went shopping for some sweet new clothes, ate dinner at Hamilton's Steak and Seafood, and then stayed at the Anniversary inn. We were in the Swiss Family Robinson Suite, complete with a giant tree in the room. I took some pics of the room cuz it was so cool.

This is the tree. The bed is up the stairs in a treehouse and there are little twinkling star lights above the bed at night.

This is the bath area at the base of the tree, complete with a waterfall shower that emptied into the the two person jetted tub, next to a fish tank.

Bathroom sink.

They brought us a delicious breakfast in the morning. So yummy!

Saturday, we headed down to Provo to get the kids from Grammie and Papa's house and hang out for a day.
The next day we went to my parent's house and stayed there. Monday was Grandpa's viewing. It was by far the loudest viewing I have ever been to.
Tuesday was the graveside service. It was short and sweet, the way Grandpa would have wanted it... he hated funerals.
This is my favorite Aunt Laurie sharing a few memories. I just love her!

That evening, we had a family party in Grandpa's honor. He wanted everyone to be happy and enjoy life, not mourn over his death. It was a lot of fun. I got to see a lot of family I haven't seen in a long time. Here is a picture of all the cousins that were there - fifteen of the twenty (I'm number 18!)

I got to see my cute cousin Amanda and her adorable baby Elaina. We were best friends growing up, and I hadn't seen her in over a year.

We also got a picture of the great grandkids. They did pretty well considering how many of them there were... 22 of the 33 in that generation! So cool.

We also did a little shopping. This is just a cute picture I took of the girls when we were at Best Buy shopping for a TV.

The weekend had been long and exhausting, but we couldn't relax when we got home. We still had to have Jamie's 1st birthday party!

Grammie came up and brought Kait, Mal, Ty, Dan, Kaye, and Sabra. My mom came up, and Chels came over with the boys. Just a small get-together.

Grammie got Jamie a car.
Trevor is jealous.

Another cute cake creation by Chelsea!
It tasted great too!

Just ask Jamison!

Well, there you have it. Sorry there's so many pictures, I just wanted to get them all down into one post.
Now we're finally relaxing and playing Wii on our new TV. Yay!
