We were all packed up and ready to go up to my mom and dad's house for dinner. The girls were still in their dresses, but to make them more comfortable, I removed their tights. We headed out into the cold to get into the car. I buckled Kenzi into her car seat, and Trev was getting Ashlin into hers.

Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks, a look of confusion on his face. Something wasn't quite right.

"What's the matter Trev?" I asked, and hurried around to the other side of the car to see what the problem was.

No words were needed though.

Evidently, taking the girls' tights off made them rather comfy......so Ash decided to take it a step further and remove her diaper as well!!


Ha ha!! Now I know not to leave just the diaper on the bottom, or we'll be left with nothing on the bottom!

Good thing we caught this before the hour drive to my parents' house!

I Love To See The Temple

For Family Home Evening this week, we got to do something new and exciting for our girls. We got tickets to go to the new Draper Temple open house tour. We met up at an LDS church where we first watched a video about the temples and what they mean to our church. Then we loaded up the tour buses that would take us up the hill to the *Temple.*

Kenzi Makae was excited to get to ride withAfter we got off the bus, we walked down long white tunnels that kept us out of the cold.

(sort of) It was very chilly, and our girls hadn't had naps, but they were surprisingly very {happy}.

We then got to walk through the Temple, and see how beautiful it is. The baptismal font room is SO pretty in that Temple. And as always, the Celestial room was absolutely gorgeous. Kenzi was very curious, and asked a lot of questions....which my mom was excited to answer in a whispered voice. It was also very fun because we got to go with lots of

My Uncle Rett and Aunt Annette got the tickets for us, and my cousins Coralee & Corey, Alan & Shannon, Rob & Dawn, Randall & Katie, and all their children were there along with my parents and our little family. I LOVE MY FAMILY! I always think everything is so much better when lots of family is around.

Then we were guided back into a nearby church to enjoy

It was so wonderful to walk through the Temple before its dedication, and let our children catch a glimpse of how beautiful and special it is.

To finish up the night, Trev and I drove back down to Provo to be with his family so we could celebrate

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to put out a little warning if you have your blog set to private. A couple of days ago, my friend Kira noticed that she could view my blog without logging in....something that is NOT supposed to happen if your blog is private. As soon as she alerted me of this, I went to my settings, and sure enough, my blog was no longer private. I'm not sure how this happened since I haven't changed it at all. I also have a cousin who this happened to, and doesn't know how it happened either. So, make sure you go to your privacy settings on a regular basis to be sure you're still private! Maybe Blogger has a glitch or something....I don't know. If anybody knows what could have happened, let me know because I'm clueless. And when it comes to my little family, I want to make SURE that we're protected!

A couple more photos and a tough decision

I'm getting some of these printed and having them framed and put up in the baby's nursery. The only problem is, I'm having a really hard time deciding which ones to put up! I don't know which ones would be best to put in a baby's room....and there are several different styles to choose from. Obviously the ones of Kenz and Ash are going in their rooms, so I'm just trying to decide which 2 belly shots to use. I could use some input! If any of you have 2 favorites (or any that you think I should NOT use) comment and help me! I really suck at making decisions! Thanks SO much!!!!

My Belly Shoot =)

I have so many amazing friends who have so many wonderful talents! Today I was able to get together with one of my best friends Leslie, and pose for some photographs of my little belly......okay, big belly. It was so much fun! Here are a few of my favorites.......

I LOVE being a Mommy, and I'm SO excited to have another little one in my life. The idea of three kids ages 3 and under, was pretty overwhelming at first, but I am so blessed to be the Mommy of such amazing children.

Baby-ness Vol. 2

So, all day yesterday I felt SO sick.....something that usually doesn't bother me in the 3rd trimester. And I kept having braxton hicks contractions that were getting a little stronger each time, but I wasn't too worried. Until about 8pm last night. A contraction hit me, and man - it was horrible! I didn't think I was in labor or anything, especially since I've been told many times that labor pains and contractions get worse with each child you have. But it certainly didn't feel very nice. Then, I thought my water broke. So we called my mom, Trev's mom, and our Doc to see what they had to say. My mom wanted me to go in right then, Meg thought I was probably fine and didn't need to go in at all yet, and the doctor said I should go in if it got worse. So, since I really didn't want a whole night of sitting in Labor and Delivery just to be sent home in the morning completely exhausted, we decided to stick it out through the night. This morning, I felt a lot better, so I'm really glad I didn't go in. And I'm extremely glad that I had this warning sign. Although I don't think it's quite time yet, I'm pretty sure that I'll be having this baby before my due date. And last night was a wake up call for just how much I still have to do before he comes. So today I'm spending my time washing all the hand-me-downs and new outfits we bought in Dreft to make sure they're completely baby safe. And I had Trev get out the infant car seat and I'm sterilizing it and washing the cover and pad. Tonight, we'll be getting the bassinet out of storage, washing it, and setting it up in our bedroom. I think I'll feel somewhat more prepared for this after I get those things done. Hopefully.

A Lifetime Ago....

I still have a hard time believing that my baby girl is 3 years old....and about to be the big sister of yet another little baby! One of the strangest things for any mother to do is to look back at the child that was once small enough to fit in the palm of her hand, and see how much they have grown and changed. For me, it's even stranger to look back on not only a much smaller daughter, but a whole different world and life, and to see how much I'VE grown and changed since turning that world around. Browsing through my mom and dad's computer, I found some of these pictures that completely blow my mind....they seem so very long ago. Back when I was a single mommy, and it was just Kenz and me....

I heard a quote that a mother said to her oldest daughter, and it rings true:

"I love all my babies the same, but I will always have loved you the longest."

An Evening of Laughs

So one of my "distraction projects" that I decided I wanted to do was to host a dinner party and have some fun with our family. After hanging out with Josh and Brittany last week, we all decided to get together for dinner. But I wanted to have more people than that, so we invited Trev's sister Megan and her hubby Lloyd, and Brittany's brother Josh and his wife Elena. (If I had more room around my kitchen table,believe me, I would have invited a whole lot more people.) This was the perfect opportunity to serve fondue....one of my all time favorite meals. So on Thursday night, we had our very first We started with Cheese Fondue (soft bread chunks that you dip into a warm cheese sauce) and a delicious salad that Megan and Lloyd brought, and then loaded up our plates with raw chicken, steak, and shrimp. Speaking of which; we really over estimated the amount of meat that we needed to buy for the party and ended up with WAY

Then we took our plates back to the table where we cooked our yummy meats in the fundue pots.
Everyone enjoyed themselves!

Us girlies just talked and laughed for a while. It was so much fun! I'm glad we were able to get together, and Trevor said he's glad we're a "party family." We plan to do things like this more often!

Visit to Great Great Grandma's

With the recent passing of my Aunt Ginny last week, and also a good family friend Zetha on Sunday, I've been thinking a lot lately about spending more time with the people in our life who won't always be around. On Monday evening after dinner, we decided to have family home evening at Trevor's aunt's house and go visit his great grandmother Whittle. She is 101 years old, and still so sharp and sweet. We met Trevor's family up there and enjoyed the evening listening to Grandma Whittle tell stories about her daughter Sabra (Trev's Grandma) who passed away several years ago. She had so much to say and so many wonderful things to share with us. Trevor sang with his sister, and she showed us her bedroom before we left. One thing that she said that night was that she has 142 direct blood decendants, and loves each and every one of them. She told us that she now knows how the Savior is able to know and love all his children, because that's the way she feels for all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren. She loves them unconditionally and would do anything she could to help them. It was a very special Family Home Evening, and I'll always remember it.
