Ashy's New Words

Our little Ashlin girl is growing up fast! In the last couple weeks, she's surprised us with several new words mixed in with her baby girl babble, as well as some rather grown-up behavior which makes us laugh extremely hard on a daily basis.

Her newest words are:

"Night-night" which she yells at us every time she's tired enough for a nap or bedtime.

"MO!" which is her way of saying everyone's favorite toddler word; "no"

"Bo-Bo" (my little brother's nick name)

"Whoisit??" (who is it?) She asks this every time we get off the phone or if there's a knock on the door.

She also clearly sings the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in her baby babble, although sometimes she changes it to the ABC's too. We can tell because she sings "E-F-G" quite audibly, though the rest is nothing but gibberish.

Also, when Trevor gets mad at her for beating up her big sister (a regular occurance these days) he sternly will tell her "That's a no-no! Okay?" and she'll answer in her sweetest little angel voice, "kay," as if she understands everything he's just told her and agrees not to do it again.

This is very funny to us, though I'm sure it's not as exciting to the rest of you reading this. Of course, if any of you heard her newest level of growling, I'm sure that would get a reaction out of you. It's quite scary.
